They simply refuse to do anything about it and when I politely request to speak to a supervisor, manager or higher security level technician, they tell me there's no-one else and they hang up on me. I can't give them someone elses email and phone number because its not me. It's not my account so I can't verify it. II've gone through this with four different EA people and they all go through the same rigamarole of asking me to verify this other persons EA account.
The only game that is linked on both accounts was Mass Effect and the last time I played that doesn't match with the last time that was recorded on this other persons EA account. I've listed every single EA game I've ever played, The details don't match. I've spent hours on phone and email with EA and we've gone through every phone number, email address and physical address I've ever had. It's a little frustrating to say the leastĪppreciate if any EA representative can advise on how I can make the EA support people do something I am completely unable to link my XBox to my own account because somehow the system has linked it to this other random account and EA wont touch it unless I can somehow prove that this other persons account is mine.Īnd of course, I can no longer connect to Chat as it prompts me to send an email or to call a number, and the number just has a recorded message stating that they are unable to take my call. They refuse to help in any way, cannot tell me whose account it is and aren't even willing to contact that person to have them resolve it. The EA helpdesk refuses to do anything because they want me to verify the credentials for the random EA account that it has connected to, It's not my account so I have no way to verify it. Microsoft say they have no access because its an EA thing.
My XBox game pass account now seems to be permanently linked to someone elses EA account. It is not connecting to my EA account, it is not asking for a password and I have no way to disconnect it. I did so and it automatically started the app up and connected it to someone elses EA account. I went to install an EA game from the XBox Gamepass on PC and it prompted me to install EA Desktop. My XBox Game Pass has been linked to someone elses EA Account
